MILES JAYE MUSIC PRODUCTIONS
MJMP is a relatively young firm, founded in 2015, however, always mindful and sensitive to the value and importance of African American entrepreneurship, Jaye has operated various other production and publishing entities such as Miles Jaye Productions, Black Tree Records, Mil-Asia Productions, Abana Music, and Global Creative Enterprises which were affiliated or distributed by Teddy Pendergrass’ Top Priority Records, Island Records, Atlantic Records, PLG, Universal Music Distribution, Virgin-EMI Music Publishing and BMI.
MJMP is an outgrowth and expanded business model of its previous incarnations. The expansion of the new entity beyond the fields of music is a by-product of two key factors; the ever changing landscape of our fans’ personal entertainment needs and interests as well as Jaye’s own penchant and appetite for constant exploration and growth.
The musician/singer/song writer is now a novelist, columnist and playwright with an eye for artistic expression as well as video and film production. The voice of his muse has encouraged this musician to forge ahead into new territory and stake a claim with his personal flag of creativity, which is all anyone can ask or demand of a true artist.
Most critical is that this or any artist is surrounded by a support team, a system and infrastructure enabling him/her to step out onto the ledge-- the outermost precipice and, if necessary, take the leap knowing that it will be properly documented and the entity is protected. The artist cannot do both.
We hope, trust and pray that each one of you who visits our website or who decides to test, taste and experience the various expressions of our flagship artist— Miles Jaye and our future artists, find the experience personally enriching.
The mission of Miles Jaye Music Productions is to produce, promote, market and distribute a variety of signature entertainment products while operating entertainment venues, nationally.
Our vision is to establish the Miles Jaye brand in the areas of entertainment and dining. The entertainment division will offer musical recordings, original literary content, theatrical, video and film productions as well as live entertainment events. The culinary division will operate restaurants, cafes and bistros in key U. S. markets and produce wholesale and retail-ready food products.
